Coaches invariably encounter resistance from clients—whether when entering into a coaching relationship or as the engagement proceeds. This session explores what resistance actually is, how it presents, and what it may be signaling beneath the surface. Coaches will gain a toolbox of questions to ask themselves and their clients to unpack resistance with clarity and care. The session also explores how AI can help coaches sharpen their skills and approaches. Emphasis is placed on transforming resistance into insight, developing curiosity, and deepening client engagement. Practical and reflective, this session helps coaches turn challenge into growth and resistance into possibility. Session will appeal to emerging and professional coaches, HR professionals, anyone who faces clients who are resistant.
